Is the Internet Becoming to Saturated to make any Money

This question is often asked, and could probably use a lot of attention. To start things off I want to add my 2 bits, and then hope that we can get a lot of great comments on this subject. Feel Free to speak your mind and give tips in what you think is true, or your personnel experience with the Internet.

First of all I think that in a sense Yes the Internet is very saturated and it is much harder to make money now then it was just 5 years ago. It is so easy now to get a website, and to make one present on the Internet, which is simply bringing huge saturation to the market.

I am personally trying to make myself present on the net, but I am finding it much harder now then it was for me 5 years ago. For example if you are looking for a product to sell on the Internet you run into several problems. For example we will use pet supplies as an example. While this market is continuing to grow and expand it is very much saturated, and doesn't really have any more room for competitors except for those who can come up with something unique. The stats on Pet supplies alone are hugely daunting, take for example the search results for the keyword "pet supplies" this will return 68,000,000 sites that are found relevant to that keyword. Now I am not saying that I would like to sell pet supplies, but it is true to me that if you want to make it in this market it is going to take something uniquely creative.

No for my other opinion though the Internet is saturated there will continue to be people who will become independently wealthy because of it and there is still lots of room to grow. The Internet market transaction grow 20% bigger every year and it will be a long while before this massive market will overcome itself.
